What is this site?

This site was developed to provide access to a wide variety of information on cord blood transplantation, including a continuously updated annotated bibliography of recent publications, upcoming conferences, and links to cord blood banks and transplant centers. The interactive forum section serves as a way to post questions to experts within the cord blood transplant community. Unlike many other internet forums, it is moderated by a knowledgeable medical editor with access to a number of experts spanning the breadth of cord blood transplantation across the country. Responses are usually posted within a few days. All posted issues remain available for reference, and a website search engine is available so that individuals may search by topic.

How does the interactive forum operate?

An individual e-mails a question to the WebMaster at one of the three e-mail addresses listed below. The query will be forwarded to one or more professionals known for their expertise in that subject. The response will be e-mailed back to the member in a timely fashion. If the issue is one of general interest, the WebMaster will post it in the "interactive forum" section of this website. Where there is no single best answer to a question, as often is the case, a range of reasonable options based on opinions of the experts will be presented.

Will everyone know who I am?

Individual participants in the interactive forums will not be identified unless requested by the participant.

How do I submit a question or comment?
